HomeAdvisor Online Booking via Google
This project integrated HomeAdvisor's online booking engine into Google's search results cards using microforms.
Contractors perform specific tasks in specific zip codes. Normally a task and zip is gathered first and a list of guaranteed matching pros is generated. In this case, the user has chosen a contractor first.
By progressively capturing requirements early in the process we could show relevant calendar results on the HomeAdvisor side. If the user edits their zip code information, the calendar is cleared and the process starts over. This project taught me the best way to prevent system display errors is to avoid them altogether with well thought out interactions.
